I know this is not very specific, but i am running into the following problems:<br><br>1) I have 4 'workspaces', first for instant messaging and volume control (pidgin, alsamixer, two terminals), second for xchat, third for gaming, fourth for firefox. The problem i run into is if i have youtube open in firefox playing some music, and i game on the third workspace, i get significant slowdown on the firefox workspace to the point where it is almost frozen.<br>
<br>Now i have run openbox for the last couple months, and i did not think this was an problem until i switched to dwm with the same workspace setup, where i do not experiance the problem. I know this isnt too specific but it made me wonder :)<br>
<br>2) I noticed switching to dwm that it will acutally update pidgin's away time by hovering the mouse over any pidgin window (im window, or main buddy list window), and i also know that openbox does not do this, since i've experianced 20+ hours of idle time until i finally type a message to myself or someone on my buddy list.<br>
