and tried to use startx. That just gives me a black screen with a mouse arrow in the middle which is however not moving.<br>
</blockquote><div><br>It sounds like your OpenBox session has started. What is strange is that the mouse is not moving. Are you certain that the xorg package you installed, also has the mouse "stuff"? What happens if you comment out "exec openbox" in your init file, and then run startx, is the mouse working?<br>
