[openbox] Menu difficulty

I also use a custom menu in my openbox setup, without any issuses. Can you supply me a copy of your rc.xml file, maybe I can help you sort it out.

I'm trying to add a custom menu.
It's dave.xml and is stored in .config/openbox.
I added a <file> item to rc.xml withe the content:
<file>dave.xml</file>
This file attached.
First result was desktop lockup.  Not sure what happened.
