Urgs, no. Please read some manual about X configuration. Neither ~/.Xefaults nor
~/.Xresources are rea by openbox.  Openbox is a _winow manager_.  The X resource system
is managed by you X server. The ~/.Xdefaults file is the traitional  place to store resources
but recently ~/.Xresources became more popular. Neither file is used automatically, you
have to feed it to the xrdb program. This is traitionally done from within you .xinitrc file,
but, as the previous posts allready mentioned, this really depends on your local setup.
So, have a look at xinit(1) and xrb(1).
