Use gtk-theme-name instead:
[Settings]
gtk-theme-name = MyGreybird

Does this line work?
gtk-font-name = DejaVu Sans Mono 10 Bold

From your screenshot, I'm not sure if it's just not using bold or if it
needs other options, try to play with the other options such as
gtk-xft-hinting and gtk-xft-hintstyle

If all fails, I guess you can backup your gtk settings, log in the
lxsession, set the settings you want, and take a look at what files and
options it generated.
