I am... I have the following script in a file that I added to my
personal sessions and it is loaded every time I log in:

#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/openbox --replace &

I also tried to modify the value of
/desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager to "openbox"
but I have encountered a problem with that (see
http://bugzilla.icculus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3788).
