Tiling capabilites of openbox

Hi,

I have been "almost happy" with my environment for a a while, but I've
come to realise some annoyances with an all-tiling environment (xmonad).

I was wondering if there are any extensions, or efforts, in giving
Openbox some "tiling" features. Not automatic tiling, but "expand this
window horistonally/vertically until it hits another window" kind of
tiling (like auto-properties in another wm which name escapes me). 

Is this possible?
