Hi Jens,

I think you are mistaken about the drawContents option, and perhaps
misunderstanding what it does.  When drawContents is turned off, the
window's frame will still be resized as normal, but the program inside
of it will not be resized until you finish resizing the frame.

Thin clients can certainly be slow when a lot of drawing is going on
over a network. I'll think about this. Mikachu was saying x11vnc has
an option to detect window moves and draw the wireframe itself, maybe
you could look into something similar for your situation in the
meantime.
