ObConf 2.0 has been released, with support for the latest features in
Openbox 3.4, including theme previews and the ability to set your
fonts. ObConf can also be used to set your desktop names, similar to
how a pager would.

As well ObConf 2.0 introduces the ".obt" Openbox Theme Archive.
".obt" files allow you to easily distribute or install themes. They
are associated with ObConf in both GNOME and KDE, so you can just run
the theme archive after downloading it, and ObConf will install the
theme for you automatically.

ObConf will create a ".obt" file from any installed theme, so it's
easy to package up your themes and distribute them to others.

This standardized method for theme distribution makes it effortless to
download, install, and try out new themes. We'd like to highly
recommend that themes use the ".obt" standard for distribution in the
future, to make things easier for your users.
