notice when windows are hung

This will be the second time I've written to say, "Hey, Metacity has
this cool feature...". This first one was the highlighted alt-tab
windows which I think was a very cool addition to openbox. However, if
anyone is getting that "Well my old girlfriend used to do this..."
feeling, you can just tell me and I'll stop.

In Metacity if an application is hung for some reason, and you click on
the close box to exit it and the application ignores you, Metacity waits
a few seconds and then gives you a "The application isn't responding"
dialog and asks if you want to force the app to quite. This is so
cool. Also, it doesn't just do an xkill on the window to detach the
client from the x server, leaving the process to run ad infinitum. It
actually kills the process and everything. This is a really slick
feature, which is WAY beyond my ability to code (but not my ability to
whine about :-)).

Just an idea.

John
