Well, ok, I tried to change the source code. But it is pointless IMHO. I
have files like Xft.h and Xft2.h And including both variants does not
help. I'm still getting the same error while compiling.

What's more important, is the thing that I managed to compile openbox on
other Freebsd 4.8 system. It went really smoothly, but it has gnome2
installed. I didn't have any problems. I didn't modify sources for that
one to compile.

Header files are on both of those machines in directories of:

/usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xft/Xft.h
/usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xft/XftCompat.h
/usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xft/XftFreetype.h

I pasted only those associated with Xft.

What is the reason? Maybe I could send some more data for you to solve
this problem?

Bye
