[obdgpslogger] obd gps dead?

I dug out my old obd2 device and behold it works... kinda.  i am learning Xcode and was wondering if I may play with your code.  I have only a couple days knowledge into Xcode, but some in programming. I am using mac osx10.8.5 with Xcode 5.1. The OBD GPS logger appeared to work. I am very curious on serial communication via obi and wish to learn more. Can you assist. I do not wish to profit from this, and i would like to assist, if this is still alive. If not, thats ok too.
