start up video system on level load to avoid redundantly loading and
re-loading resources at startup
defer some loading of resources because many just aren't used in any
given level
fixed an off-by-one bug in R_DrawString handling of color codes that ate
an extra character after the color code
changed color code table to be more logical
resource loading warnings are now cyan color
death messages are now red
eliminated several resource loading warnings that were fairly useless
other tweaks
