<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=578510014-10012003>The recent posts
about server performance have gotten me thinking about a couple of things (wow):
I have several Linux machines that I rent from a server farm - they are PIV 2.0
with 512 MB of ram and 10mbit connections (limited to 400 gigs of transfer per
month - each instance is currently only using about 180 gigs). I currently run
only one game on each server because I am a performance freak! With a 24 player
game, we average around 60-90 ping. Each server instance takes up only about 125
MB of ram (fluctuates a bit, but this is the average). I haven't spent much time
tracking the CPU usage on the Moh:aa servers, though.......</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

server (in terms of hardware) with more than one game running at a time???? I am
thinking of running two games on each server this weekend as a test - the usual
24 player game and an 18 player TDM game as well to see how the machine
performs. Any thoughts on this in general??!??</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
