SV: SV: SV: [mohaa] Binoculars bug ? how to fix ?

Hi,

I never thought it might be overheating. I've got 4*80mm fans plus a
fancontroller, 120mm PSU fan plus cpu+gpu fans... I ran Prime95 for a week
with no overheating signs hehe 63 deg celcius core CPU temp after a week....

However it seems like the problem was the gfx card...I changed my Gainward
Ti4200 to a Creative GF2 MX card. Didn't even know that the server used it
when in dedicated mode?

It's been running for 3 days now without a crash which triples my previous
max uptime...

Best Regards
Kai

the last time I had mysterious stability problems under load, it was
actually the cpu overheating. it was only showing up under Far Cry and
nothing else... I went through re-isntalls, mem tests etc before I ever
though to check the cpu temp. turns out it was running hot as it was, and
Far Cry was just pushing it over the edge. I pulled the fan, and installed
a better heatsink/fan combo with some good thermal paste... brought the
temp back down to reasonable levels (a 15C to 20C drop) and it's been rock
solid ever since under both Far Cry and now even under a Doom3
play-through (I even played through the Hell levels with everything
turned as high as it would go to take screenshots and it still stayed
solid even though my fps were rather dismal ;) hehehe).

wouldn't hurt to check?
