Man, I would think if iptables or ipchains were running then the game itself
would be inaccessible as well.  You could try this at an SSH command line:

cd /etc/rc.d/init.d
./iptables stop
./ipchains stop

Then restart game and see if it does anything differently.  I don't run
iptables on my game servers anyways, I don't want to have to muck with a
firewall everytime I add new games.  I'll see if I can find any info from
when we had a similar problem with GameSpy...
