On a dual 2.4Ghz Xeon's with 2 Gb RAM we run ~10 20 player servers.
CS is a total CPU freak on most maps ur looking at 50% of 2.4Ghz
for a 16 player server.

The nice games are: mohaa, quake, quake2, bf1942 ( linux only )
Not so bad are: ut, ut2k3, q3 + clones, hl and some mods
Gits: Spearhead, ravenshield, americas army, hl and some mods.

  Hi,

I'm gonna use a AMD dual system.

How do you mean lower than CS ?

And if it's really 1% then it can handle only 5 servers ?

Okay they are going to be used for clan servers so they won't be used intensive (and most of the time only 10 players).

Any ideas about CS and other games ? CPU load and RAM use ?

  Thanks ;)

  Sander

Allot lower than CS on a 2.4Ghz Xeon its ~ 1player = 1% CPU load.

    Hi,

    And again a question J

    What's the CPU load of MoH:AA and MoH:SH ?

I want to combine MoH:AA and Counterstrike servers but I need to calculate how much servers I can put on one pc.

Ram use is 100-160 MB (MoH:AA and I guess MoH:SH too).

Anybody who knows the load of CS as well ?

    And again: thanks in advance.

ps : is there a list for all games with cpu load ? Cause I want to host more then one game (BF, UT, Quake) or anybody fimaliar with those loads ?
