[mohaa] Server specs

Hi,

Yeah I want to start my own company.
I want to start with clan servers, and later on I want to switch to
public servers.

I guess 1024 is the standard, but the company I spoke to doubles the
costs for that.

I was think of 8 clanservers (20 players) on a P4 2.4 with 1024, and I'm
talking about MoH:AA then. I'm gonna try CS as well, but I need to do
more research about that.

Thanks for the info, keep it coming :)

Regards,

Sander

Sander,

Depends upon the players. I wouldn't put more than 4 20 peep CS servers
on
that box. Once you hit peak, you'll notice a considerable slow down. I
would go for the 1Gb RAM regardless.

Are you looking to start a business or just play with friends?

MOHAA uses a lot of system resources so I would say 3 20 peep max. If
you
hit 100% utilization on that box you're users will complain.

My 2 cents.
