the cvar is optional, Andre. If it wont fit into your gameplan, just set it
to 'sv_pure 0'. But for those of us who choose to work in into our servers,
I at least want to know that it works as it should......but this is all in
the past. EA has admitted in formal statements that its current
implementation of sv_pure is flawed (ok, nobodies perfect) and will be
including a working version in the next patch.
I was wondering if ol' Ryan has plans to work it into the next Linux
binary.... ;)

Well, that is not good... Imagine you have a map you need for other
server, the server won't let you in until u take the map from your main
directory... I've got 60.... imagine the work!

As far as I can tell, sv_pure *does* work now. I enabled it on my server
and it rejected any clients that had PK3's not present on the server.
