[mohaa] recommended settings for server?

Yeah sure man no prob. I still consider these scripts beta. Not the fact
that they don't run. They start, stop, and restart the server just fine.
But.........what I haven't tested yet is to see that, what the script does
to check to see if the server isn't running is to check to see that the
"process" isn't running. So....if the binary loads.......but your
server.cfg doesn't then i'm not sure if the process dies or what.........I
just haven't had time to check that. If the process loads but you can't
connect for some reason like maybe ur server.cfg doesn't load properly then
i'll have to make it check the log file and if it sees that it's sitting at
localization or something like that then it will warn u. But here u go:

screen shots of using webmin with a cron job (i have it set to no schedule
so i go in and click run now - that way I don't have to telnet in and go
through and do command line crap. This way it's one click)

screenie #2: http://www.bashyou.com/snipesserverscripts/cronjob2.jpg
screenie #3: http://www.bashyou.com/snipesserverscripts/cronjob3.jpg

Download the scripts:

Read the script carefully. I am using this on Red Hat 9.
So.......depending on your system setup and things installed it may need to
be changed. Works great for me so far hope it works for u! Took me 5 hours
of research on the internet to finally get this to work LOL. Any
suggestions or whatever are welcome!
