Hi Luke,

I have a weird problem whereby my UK server does not show up as a UK
server (i.e. it is only visible if you uncheck "servers in my country
only".

I contacted gamespy about this and although they have not managed to fix
my problem they did say that it is done by IP address.

Hi all.
Long time lurker on the list here :)

Does any one know what gamespy uses to sort servers by country?
And what settings (if any) are accepted?

IE, gamespy allows you to view the servers in your country or ALL
servers,
I would like to know how it knows what country they are in.
ASA also shows a country flag, I'd guess its done the same.

I'm guessing its the "Location" setting.
