Hi Randall,

The short answer is yes. It should work with the new Spearhead server assuming that the existing game server log entries being used aren't changed or removed. The tool works by parsing the game server log file and responding when it identifies certain entries. I am told that there are some changes that will be made to the new server logging which will help make team identification easier as well as allow me to extend the TK handling to game modes other than just TDM. Currently, there are some limitations of what can be accomplished because of how the game server logs information. I recently discussed the particulars of this issue if you want more information. Here's a link to the thread:

As soon as the new Spearhead server is available, I will be doing some testing to not only ensure compatibility but also to take advantage of the new features. Anyone running the old version will be stuck with only TDM TK support, but I have a feeling that everyone will be switching to the expansion pack anyway because of all the added features.

By the way, I realized that I didn't post my game server info in my original message. Although it is on my site, here are the specifics for anyone that doesn't want to dig for them:

Server Name: RAGNAROK
Server IP: 216.42.80.176
Game Mode: TeamDM - FF on, CKR Realism

    Hello everyone,

Yesterday I released a production version of my game server administration tool for Linux and I want to thank everyone who participated in the beta testing. I especially want to thank those who took the time to offer feedback because it helped a great deal. You can find more information about the project here:

    http://www.clanshortfuse.com/projects.shtml

I also want to take a moment to thank Ryan for all his work creating the Linux version of MOH:AA, for offering to change the server in the next release to help out all of us Linux administrators, and for being there to answer all of our questions. I've had a ton of fun playing this game and have made a lot of new friends in the process, all because of the Linux version of the server. Thanks very much Ryan. You rule! I am definitely looking forward with eager anticipation to the unveiling of the Linux version of Spearhead. If I can help in any way, please feel free to contact me. I think a lot of us here would be happy to help give something back in return for all we have received.

If anyone is interested in checking out the tool in action, feel free to join the dedicated server I run. It's connected to a T3 line provided by my friends at Netsville, and it has a bunch of decent regular players who are interested in having a good time.
