Subject: [mohaa] Linux Dedicated Server

Okay, I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I'm trying to get the
dedicated Linux server running and I'm having some issues. For starters
I'm running Slackware v8.1 on a Dell Precision 340 1.5GHz w/512MB RAM &
Radeon VE (7000) dual head card. I'm not sure if any of that matters or
not. I'm pretty comfortable with Linux, but I've never run a dedicated
game server on it before.

So, I mounted my Win2k partition, tar'd (sp?) my MOHAA and then untar'd
it to "/MOHAA" on my box. I moved the Linux dedicated server files over
and fired up the server.

After starting the server I got these errors:
couldn't exec localized.cfg
couldn't exec custom.cfg

Following the documentation I entered the following commands at the
console:
g_gametype 1
map dm/mohdm1

After that, I got the following errors:
------- Attempting to load ./fgameded.so -------

'models/human/allied_pilot/allied_pilot.skd'
^~^~^ Morph targets data is corrupted for

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I don't see any .scr files. The MD5's
on the pak files were fine.

Thanks,
Ian
