[mohaa] ...any troubles yet?

I had the exact same problem.. the cfg files you don't need just make dummy ones.  the reason your maps don't work is the
permissions on your pk3 files are wrong.  When you copied them from windows they were probably read only and you used 2k or xp
right?  Just use chmod and make them all 666 or 777 and your maps will load server and server will work.
