Lo.
Mine works great.
this is exactly what i done. as i already had a mohaa install i ma a folder
called mohaa. in that mohaa folder i putttttttttttttt POISON !!!! (
sorry just some st00pid game we used to play when i was a kid ( a real kid
( nod the kid i am now ))) anyway.. where was i .. ah yeah.. in the mohaa
folder put 'fgameded.so' & 'mohaa_lnxded'. then.. insode mohaa dir also i
made a 'main' dir. copied paks 0-6 into the main folder. i then copied over
folders 'configs' global' maps' 'sound' & 'video' some u prolly dont need
buy hey...  it works...

>( and i install tree just for you )

my structure looks a little like this

[19:23] <@Dc||afk> [game at peefree mohaa]$ tree -d
[19:23] <@Dc||afk> .
[19:23] <@Dc||afk> `-- main
[19:23] <@Dc||afk>     |-- configs
[19:23] <@Dc||afk>     |-- global
[19:23] <@Dc||afk>     |-- maps
[19:24] <@Dc||afk>     |   |-- dm
[19:24] <@Dc||afk>     |   `-- obj
[19:24] <@Dc||afk>     |-- sound
[19:26] <@Dc||afk>     |   |   |-- mechanics
[19:26] <@Dc||afk>     |   |   `-- training
[19:28] <@Dc||afk>     |   `-- weapons
[19:28] <@Dc||afk>     |       `-- explo
[19:28] <@Dc||afk>     `-- video

( i killed a few bits but im guessing u get the picture!

i also copied over 'custom.cfg' 'newconfig.cfg' 'server.cfg'

my 'server.cfg' looks like THIS for a roundbased server

seta sv_hostname "Dc||mohaa-lnxded"
sets IRC "irc.daycross.com #daycross"
sets URL "www.daycross.com"
sets Connection "512 ADSL"

seta sv_gamespy "1"
seta sv_master1 "master0.gamespy.com"
seta sv_master2 "master1.gamespy.com"

seta g_allowvote "1"

seta rconpassword "xxxxxxx"

seta g_gametype "3" // 1=FFA 2=TDM 3=RB 4=OBJ

seta sv_pure 1
seta sv_allowDownload 1

seta sv_maxclients "6"
seta sv_minping "0"
seta sv_fps "30"
seta sv_maxrate "8000"
seta sv_floodProtect "1"
seta sv_maxping "0"
seta g_teamdamage "0"

set g_inactiveSpectate "60"
set g_inactiveKick "300"

seta timelimit "25"
seta fraglimit "0"

seta sv_maplist "dm/mohdm1 dm/mohdm2 dm/mohdm3 dm/mohdm4 dm/mohdm5 dm/mohdm6
dm/mohdm7"
map dm/mohdm4

Then i opened ported ( out )12300 on my router for both TCP & UDP

[game at peefree mohaa]$ pwd
/home/game/mohaa

from this dir i typed
>./mohaa_lnxded +exec ffaserver.cfg

it done loads of errors n stuff but its normal. its running
and ppl are connecting
hope this will help someone
Dc

I also have problems to get my MoHaa srv working behind my firewall.
Anybody out there knowing *exactly* which ports (specified in TCP and
UDP)
that has to be open? Since I'm running a dedicated firewall (IpCop), I
also
have to enable portforwarding to the static ip adress on my "inside"
Linux
MoHaa server...

I have searched through the community and have found only a few postings
that
touches the topic, but I miss the details here :/

Regards,
