What's wrong with sets?

I have the following in my server.cfg:

alias  _dmlist  "sets sv_maplist dm/mohdm1 dm/mohdm2 dm/mohdm3 dm/mohdm4 dm/mohdm5 dm/mohdm6 dm/mohdm7"

Works great using the Windows MOHAA_server, but on the linux side when I enter "_dmlist" at the console it responds with:

usage: sets <variable> <value>

If I change the sets in the alias above to a plain set, then it works okay.
