<HTML><BODY style="word-wrap: break-word; -khtml-nbsp-mode: space; -khtml-line-break: after-white-space; ">There is this new ncurses-based widget library that is being developed for use in Gaim 2.0, GNT (Gaim Ncurses Toolkit). It's a project that was sponsored by the Google Summer of Code, and uses a GTK-like API (with callbacks, etc).<DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>I'm thinking it may be a good candidate to replace the current text UI in setup with something more modern and closer to the existing GTK backend. The console UI is getting old, and the dialog UI is pretty crappy and obsolete. </DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Any opinions?
