They have to be 64-bit...UT2004 (and other titles) spill past 4 
gigabytes, so it can't be a 32-bit datatype.

Fwiw, I'm moving all my shipping titles to glibc 2.3...legacy glibc has 
finally pissed me off too much.  :)   Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze 
another five years out of this version.
