MDL 10RC1 Loki_Udate Error with UT2003 patches

The layout is MDL 10RC1, G4 Ti 4600 and latest NVIDIA
drivers (IA32), 2.6.2-3mdksmp kernel;
When I attempt to download updates and install them
using the Loki Update Util, the 
patches download fine, but when I go to apply them,
they are giving me the following
error;

The program returned an error code (1)

All the Glibc-2.3.3-9mdk packages are installed, this
is a new error for me so I am stumped on this one.
