This also means that the non-updated Linux client is still trying to authenticate, and won't work. I'll try to screw around with it during the week. -- -Zachary J. My main requirement is merely that a similar script exists for updating the web version, with a similar amount of TTL. A web interface should exist within, say, two months after swap. A web interface should exist within, say, two months after swap. CVS is working again now. It was a Gentoo bug. The heart of the issue is explained in the bug report I opened here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49879 > If anybody hates SVN for a good reason, let me know. > If you love it, and want to marry it, let me know why. Short of "cvs is going away completely", there isn't a good reason to run to svn, other than all contributors want to switch. In that case, it makes a lot of sense for this project, since you don't have external people updating from CVS (that is, the end user wants the website, not the repository), so there's really no baggage. But that's totally up to the contributors. The conversion to svn is trivial: I run cvs2svn on the existing repository, and then change the cronjob to update with svn and not cvs. At this moment, this is strictly a question of what the lgfaq writers prefer to use. --ryan. As far as i can remeber i update manualy all tribes 2 files. Binary-delta files are unpacked in the tmp directory. Fortunately Loki uses standard xdelta patches. Just search file and delta-file, then update it with help of xdelta. I cannot remember count of files , whitch must be updated. I hope thah is single file. Just copy over simple game data files. Similar You can update Heroes III , which have only one file for update. You must have xdelta. That is dirty hack, which may be explained in the lqfag as sequence of commands.
