Yeah we should do that. I don't think those have any sub dependencies either.
You can create a task for that, or I'll get around to put one up soon.

TTimo

Im in favor of including these libs with the releases.
I use arch linux as well, and it provides by default:
libjpeg.so.8,
libpng15.so and libpng14.so

Older version require manual work, as previously stated. I guess Gentoo and everything else "non-debian" based is on the same level.
Eventually even ubuntu and co will not have these libs anymore, rendering unfrequently maintained radiant-packages useless.
Confirmed, missing dependencies:

libjpeg.so.62 => not found
libpng12.so.0 => not found

You should have that in your distro's packages.
Are the 1.6.2 builds working though? This new set is work in
progress, for people interested in various fixes we have been
working on since 1.6.2
Can you translate that 'errno' line in the first screenshot?

If I had to guess, it's likely a missing dynamic library
dependency. We need to improve the diagnosis on those though. Run
'ldd -r' against the various '*.so' files that are in the plugins
and modules folders .. you're likely to find one that is missing a
dependency.
(Mostly useful if you've been reporting/waiting on issues and
some code fixes went in that you didn't get a binary for yet)

This is the start of 1.6.3 - QBall has started working on QL
support, and some work with the UrT gamepack and custom map
compiler is continuing. We also have a laundry list of
smallish issues that could be worth investigating. I'm
thinking we'll need to do some kind of assessment and flag
some as worth looking at for the next release. As usual,
patches welcome.
