I would rephrase that as 'all it says'... 'errors' is rather generic,
don't you agree?

Which is of course what I tried but it doesn't crash for me (neither
with 10.04 for that matter).

More details would be appreciated if someone has them, like the gcc
and glibc version and the map or maps the segfault was observed with.
