CPU/RAM/Operating System: AMD 2400+ XP // 1GB DDR // WinXP
Hard Drive Space: more than 30 gigs on radiant's drive
Video Card/OpenGL Drivers: radeon 9600 // latest catalyst
Version of GTKRadiant: GtkRadiant 1.5.0 beta - build 09-26

Error:
when selecting a whole group (shift + LMB) the group cannot be moved. releasing the modifier after dragging it into any direction will let it snap back to it's former state.

Cause of Error:
create 2 brushes
func_group them
select the group via shift + LMB
try to move the group by dragging the modifier
