gcc-3.3 (GCC) 3.3.2 20031006 (prerelease)

Still gives the error. Might be a linker/binutils issue, as what we are seeing
is the wrong destructor being called (symbol aliasing going all fucked up?)

In any case, this will delay the official 1.3.12 release on Linux till fixed
