two problems it seems:

- setup.gtk still has some weird incompatibility issues (I don't understand why,
since fink dependencies was supposed to settle this once and for all)

- we have a problem with creation of RADIANT_MAJOR RADIANT_MINOR files during
install?

Also, since there is no console installer, need to tweak setup.sh into sending
out the right error message.
