Some quick bits from reading to the patch (basically mental notes written down 
for the cleanup process):

In the model module, DRAW_GHOSTED should be a render flag, not a gl state flag. 
(DRAW_RF_GHOSTED)
The patch reverts the 127 texture directory fix (accidental likely).
