In Adobe Illustrator, the "Duplicate" command (equivalent to Clone) repeats the
last manual (or numeric) transform when cloning. So if you Alt-Drag a selection,
it clones it as part of the transform. Then hitting Ctrl-D on that same
selection clones it and moves it the same direction.

This is useful for creating a row of identical columns, for instance, or
rotating something 45 degrees and repeating until you have a full circle.
