window positions are stored in gamedir/radiant-1.3/local.pref so i don't see 
the problem.

i meant my window positions were forgotten, not that they were not transferred 
to the other game.

i of course don't code so you may know something i don't and i'll bow to your 
superior knowledge.

i don't see why window positions/types couldn't be stored in global. the gui 
stuff doesn't affect what you're editing does it?
