I had this on the current cvs tree when my texture compression was set to a bad 
value. (Accidently ran radiant in software opengl, texture compression was set 
to OpenGL ARGB, which doesn't work in software mode, so texture uploads seemed 
to break. Altough if he is using 1.2.10 that can't be the problem as that 
doesn't use texture compression.
