I will attach a patch that should help with this issue going forward.

To build using gcc2, do:

./cons -- release gcc2
./cons -- debug gcc2

Or using gcc3, do:

./cons -- release gcc3
./cons -- debug gcc3

It assumes that gcc3 is called as gcc-3.2
It assumes that gcc2 is called as gcc-2.95
