Ok, i agree with the reporter on this issue.

I used to work in 4 view mode (camera, xy, yz, xz) mode and doing 3-point 
clipping was easy as pie.

in 3 view mode (camera, main switchable layout, z-checker) it's a real pain in 
the ass to adjust your 3point clipping points.

being able to simple put clipping point in the z-checker window would be very 
handy to me.  e.g.  when splitting a wall brush into two vertical brushes to 
add trim to a corridor..  etc.
