Summary: Crash when loading after closing while minimized.
           Product: GtkRadiant
           Version: 1.2.1
        OS/Version: Windows 2000
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: editor
        AssignedTo: ttimo@idsoftware.com
        ReportedBy: nib@nibsworld.com

When you have gtkRadiant minimzed and your right-click the icon in the task bar
and choose close it appears to close normally, however, it will not open the
next time you attempt to run it. You get a fatal exception error. Up until
1.2.5 there were three solutions. First, you could simply double-click any .map
file and it would prompt you to reset the registry, second you could uninstall
all versions (1.2.1 and any nightly version), delete remaining file, then
reinstall. And third, you could make a backup copy of the files that remain
after an uninstall (I forget exacly which ones) and then save those. When you
got this error, if you copied those files back into the radiant directory, you
could run the app again without reinstalling. I *think* the primary file that
was causing the problem was saveinfo.bin or something like that. With version
1.2.5 you could no longer use the trick of opening a .map file and having it
reset the registry. The only solution was to uninstall, delete left over files,
and reinstall.

This is on win2k sp2 (two different machines) and is reproducable every time.
