yes using "sprite" would be better, *but* that would mean changing the
eclass_s structure. When the entity definition goes xml i'll update the
spritemodel module accordingly.
also, i know the alpha stuff is done at load time, but i'm not 100% sure that
my opengl code's usage of the alpha channel is correct.
