After first run, the texures all windows turn white, turning shaders off or 
doing 'flush and reload' fixes the display. 
But,
I just had all of the textures in all windows turn black, and only a re-install 
cleared it.
It came back on the second run of Radiant, I installed 1.2.10; still hosed.
Bummer, I started last week on a true-scale map of Area 51 64,000 units across 
and made good progress. Rockets take 10+ seconds to cross!
