Good to hear.

Well, not really, but it sort of is I guess. I view them as two
different products which happen to be based on the same original code,
kind of like Quake3 and the Medal of Honor games. They're based on the
same basic engine but have diverged a lot during development.

Pretty much all of the code I'm bringing back to icculus.org is changed
at least slightly from what's in fs2_open. It wastes time developing
for both versions simultaneously so I do it this way to speed things up.
Initially it goes into fs2_open since it moves faster, has more active
testers, and it breaks a lot. When the code stabilizes a bit and proves
to be affective I modify it to better fit the icculus.org code.

When I first started working on fs2_open it went the other way. New
features, fixes, and optimizations were done in the icculus.org version
and then brought to fs2_open. It got to the point though that going
from fs2_open to icculus.org was a bit more effective and allowed me to
get more done.
