http://scp.indiegames.us is the main SCP website and has links to
downloads and forums.  The main SCP forum is at HLP and you can get the

You can still use both, I do.  FS2_Open does not have to pure FS1 build
that the icculus.org project does but there is a mod available which
ports the FS1 ships/weapons/etc. to the FS2 engine.  Whatever the
icculus.org project is missing capability wise though so is FS2_Open.  I
work on both projects so when the missing sound code and anything is
done then both projects will get it.

Not yet but really soon.  Like the icculus.org Freespace2 project
FS2_Open will compile and run under Linux/x86, Linux/PPC, Linux/x86_64
and OSX.  You can find that older, less complete, Linux versions are
available but I recommend waiting.  All of the Linux changes are getting
merged into CVS now and should be ready next week.  You can find the CVS
information on the SCP site.
