freespace2 OSX audio problems

Hello,

Just compiled from cvs on April 1, 2005, using default debug build for
Mac OSX.

There is no music in gameplay and no voices for briefing/debriefings. I
do get voices for instructor training and for communications (actual in
flight), and sound during videos works, although there is corruption
along the edges in the videos on parts of the image that actually
change (non-static).

I was under the impressions these were working?

This is using OSX 10.3 w/ updates, on old 450Mhz G4 w/ Rage 128 16MB
AGP, Apple Developer Compiler w/ latest fixes. Using Freespace 2 RETAIL
version, not some expansion or strange pack - plain vanilla version.

Last thing is, how am I supposed to apply the x86 update lol? Is there
someplace to get a non-x86 friendly version? No I am not going to spend
100's on M$ VirtualPC product thanks...

I am attaching the freespace log. You can see some audio error messages
from the OpenAL parts in there. Not sure if they are of any help or
not. BTW I compiled against SDL and latest OpenAL cvs, both of which I
compiled myself and did not see any errors when doing so.

Thanks for any help - it's appreciated!
