A quick grep for free.*new_text showed me the function. Since you were  
already
working on it I just commented out the call to it. I figure I can live  
with a
small leak until CVS is updated.
Besides if I ever play enough missions in a row for this to be a problem  
my wife
would already have ordered me to go to sleep :).
