I'm running latest version from CVS with files copied from a windows  
installation of freespace2 on dvd. (which the installer by the way doesn't  
work with, and I was unable to modify it to get the files directly off the  
dvd, but installing on windows allowed me to get the game installed  
anyway).

Is this a known problem, or am I the only one seeing this?
I could look at fixing this myself if you could point me toward the rigth  
place in the code.
