The new patch should be finished tomorrow but I do have a binary which
consistently crashes.  Aside from a some ifdef modifications with 4 new
lines of graphics positioning in src/menuui/barracks.cpp and a recompile
there is nothing different from this crashing binary and one that worked
fine 30 minutes ago.  It's compiled with gcc3.2 on Psyche (RedHat 8)
with openal cvs as of last night.  I can post it somewhere if you want
to have a look at it.

Places in the demo with a popup that crashes: MainMenu->TechMenu,
MainMenu->Barracks->Medals, MainMenu->Options->HudConfig, MainMenu->Exit
